  3. Love you Robin!
I have been a great fan since I was a young teenager.
I am happy to hear you are doing well.
It is always a pleasure seeing you live and I have seen you in concert many, many times and have always been impressed. I have a picture of you and me shaking hands in I believe 1983 and you autographed my Bridge of Sighs LP. Nobody plays with the feel and inspiration that you show! Thanks for all you do.

I hope to see you again when you return to the US.

    Best wishes always, George

  6. Robin – What wonderful news! I’ve seen you many times, but the one I remember most fondly was meeting you after a show in St. Pete, FL. I told you about my friend and I skipping a high school tennis tournament to see you in Grand Rapids, MI in 1975. And you replied “So I guess I’m responsible for you never becoming a professional tennis player.” I laughed so hard! Amazing guitar player / composer plus a great sense of humor! Wishing you all the best in your continued recovery!

Thanks for your music.🙏 Saw you in the ’70’s at Music Hall in Boston. Fantastic! And still you are still doing it so wonderfully. Rich tone is beautiful. Thank you most sincerely. You are unknowingly a teacher of mine. Come back to the Boston area somewhere.

  8. Hello Robin, I am so pleased that you are in recovery. In 2019 briefly met you in Grand Rapids, told you at the time ‘Little Girl Blue’ was my favorite new song. Now it’s ‘ Joyful Sky’, for the Bond feel and heart it displays. I am hoping for a ‘Daydream’ type song for the future. Take care, and also please keep doing artwork for newer albums.

  12. Your Bridge of Sighs album was one of my first to buy in the 70’s, as a kid I couldn’t get enough of your music and the albums to follow. I love James’s Voice and Davey Pattison as well. BLT and Truce were great and a fun sounding collaboration with Jack Bruce. I saw you in Newton NJ several years back and was excited to see you at the Paramount in Huntington Long Island last year. I was sad to hear you had some issues, which I am glad you came through with flying colors. I hope your recovery is quick and if you come around to my area, I will be sure to be there…

  13. So good to read that Robin came through the op and are recovering. I was very concerned to hear the news about your health. You’re not alone of course but you happen to be one of UK’s best blues guitarists left…. I’ve followed you since you joined Procol Harum, seen you a few times in London, Birmingham & St Ives. Cornwall. I lived & worked there in the summer in 1972.
Imagine my surprise to find that you and your dear wife loved St Ives too. I was on an open top bus going to Lands End and you and your lovely wife were coming back towards St Ives. One of the most surreal moments for me 🙂

  14. Hello Robin, so good to hear it’s getting better with your health.
Hope you will come again to the Netherlands in near future.
I saw you in 1976 in the Hague as support to the Rolling Stones ans a few months later in Amsterdam in the Rai Congress-hall. Much later again in Amsterdam in Paradiso and so on. A fan for life! Take care of yourself, and hope to see you again!

  17. Robin, Like others here, I have been a fan since the 1970’s. In fact, my high school football team was the Eagles, and we always played “Day of the Eagle” very loudly in the locker room before the start of every game. I am also an amateur guitarist and have been working on learning to play Bridge of Sighs – I love that song so much. I haven’t been following you but was excited to see a concert scheduled at the Brown County Music Center in Nashville Indiana, which is very near me, but then sad to see that it was canceled and even sadder to hear about your health issues. But glad to hear that you came through the surgery. Hoping that you have a speedy recovery, and take care of yourself – don’t tour again till you’re sure you’re ready! Thank you for the timeless music. Dave – Bloomington, Indiana

  19. Hey Robin. Glad surgery went well. Time for you to just chill for now as you’ve given so many of us the most memorable concerts I’ve ever attended. Hopefully I get to see you play again , but if not , I have a million memories from the many shows I’ve attended.

    • I feel the same way as Mike. We have your music. I look forward to seeing you for the first time live someday, but if not, your prolific works will be there for me. I am 71 and have many of your records. I have so many favorites, who can pick? Ok, “Bridge of Sighs or “Day of the Eagle”. Singing, writing, and playing like another of my favorites who died so young. Guitar leads like yours and a few others will stay with me, and I will play them to the younger ones who might listen. Live on Robin.

  20. I’m SO glad to hear of the positive outcome of your surgery. I was fortunate to attend a concert in Portland prior to the loss of the late, great James Dewar. There’s no one who plays a guitar as mesmerizing as you. Even if I never get the chance to see you in concert again, I’ll always have the memory of the fantastic show I was able to attend. Good health to you!

  25. Blessings and a full recovery to you, Mr. Trower. I first saw you live in 1980 at the Palladium in New York City. I was a teenager in the front row. I still have the pick you used that night and which a roadie was kind enough to gift me after the show. Thank you for the music, always. I look forward to catching you again when you’re back on the road.

  30. Very glad to hear you are on the upside of down. Hope you have many years of your mastery of human emotions. I’m no Jack Bruce but love the man’s method to death. Playing bass to your music in cover bands was extremely fun but never as good as you’re live and on my stereo. I’ve you’re whole library I think. Glad you’re on the mends. 31. Hi Robin,
Really pleased to hear you’re on the mend after your op. I used to rehearse at Trackside Recording Studios Monday to Friday 9am to 5am and you were always rehearsing in the practice room next door prior to touring, so I know how much work you put into your music and how much of a perfectionist you are, which inspired me back in the 1980s. I took some friends to see you at the Assembly Hall gig and loved it. I hope you recover soon and get to play many more gigs and tour the USA – thanks for your massive contribution to music. Take care and happy recovery.

So glad you came through it all with flying colors! I remain a steadfast fan, some fifty years or so, looking to pick up where we left off! Artie Sacktig, NYC.

  33. Hi Robin I am so happy to hear of your recovery. I saw you in 1973 you opened for King Crimson Twice Removed From Yesterday tour the band was amazing I will never forget that concert I was 19 I am now 70 and listening to your music you make your guitar sing beautiful melodies and incredible feeling you remind me of the great Jimi Hendrix but you have your own style and no one comes even close to what you do. I am so excited I am having the opportunity to see you again in Portland Maine at Aura it’s a dream come true and just the thought fills me with emotion I am a drummer/guitarist and you have influenced me in some many positive ways musically maybe I can meet you in person at Aura on June 27 just to shake your hand and tell you how much I love your music take care God bless and be well ♥️
